Balakot

Balakot sits on the Kunhar River in Mansehra District, where the Hazara hills meet the Kaghan climb. It is the usual refreshment and photo stop after the Hazara Expressway on PTG road packages.

Day 1 of the Skardu tour by road lists Balakot before Kuwai Waterfall, Kaghan, and Naran. Families use it as a short break; the same Corolla GLI or Yaris continues up-valley the same afternoon.
