Marsur Rock

Marsur Rock (also spelled Masrur Rock) is a famous natural rock formation located in Hussainabad village, just outside Skardu city in Gilgit-Baltistan. Perched high above the valley floor, the distinct flat-top ledge extends outward over a steep cliff, earning it the nickname "Trolltunga of Pakistan." Reaching the site requires a moderately challenging uphill hike through rugged terrain and village paths. Hikers are rewarded with panoramic vistas of the meandering Indus River, surrounding green valleys, and majestic snow-capped Himalayan and Karakoram peaks, making it a favorite spot for landscape photography and thrill-seeking travelers.
