Famous for: Pine and juniper forest meadows, also called Sultanabad Meadows, high in the Basho Valley in Rondu. They are known for glacier-fed streams, camping and views of Karakoram peaks.

Bashu Meadows (also known as Bashu Valley) is an unspoiled mountain haven situated at an altitude of around 3,000 meters in the Skardu district of Gilgit-Baltistan. Accessible via a scenic 4x4 Jeep drive through rugged mountain roads, the valley opens up into expanse pastures surrounded by dense evergreen pine forests and towering granite peaks. A rushing mountain stream meanders through the heart of the meadow, creating a serene environment ideal for wilderness camping, eco-tourism, and hiking. Due to its remote location and minimal commercial development, Bashu Meadows provides travelers with an untouched, off-the-beaten-path mountain experience in northern Pakistan.
