Pakistan Travel Guide is the first company in Pakistan’s tour trade to fully automate its operations through Artificial Intelligence software. The system that makes that possible is PTGTMS — PTG Tour Management System. It is not a slide from a vendor. It is the live book we already work from: hotels, room types, occupancy, extra mattresses only where they are listed, rates, and quotes.

Most agencies still keep rates in a WhatsApp chat, a spreadsheet, and a brochure that is already a season old. PTG put one system in the middle and taught the rest of the office to read it. AI software drafts and publishes against that book. The website shows what PTGTMS holds. WhatsApp quotes the same numbers. If a room is not in PTGTMS, it is not on the site. That is the rule.

We said as much in public on World Tourism Day in Muzaffarabad on 28 September 2026. The seminar title was Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism. This article is the weekday version of that sentence: PTG is already running the stack.

What PTGTMS is

PTGTMS is Pakistan Travel Guide’s fully automated tour-management system. It is the source of truth for operations. When a hotel is added, a room rate changes, or a quote is issued, it lands in PTGTMS first. The public site, the package page, and the WhatsApp reply are copies of that record — not a second invention.

In practice the system holds the work that used to sit in three places at once:

• Hotel inventory by destination: Hunza, Skardu, Swat, Kalam, Naran, Neelum, Murree, Chitral, Kumrat and the rest of the live list.
• Room cards: standard, deluxe and luxury categories, occupancy, and extra mattress only when PTGTMS lists one.
• Published rates. If PTGTMS has no figure, the page says rate on request. We do not invent a from-price.
• Quotes tied to those hotels and nights, so a guest’s itinerary and the hotel book stay the same document.

That is why a Hunza or Neelum package on pakistantravelguide.pk can be updated the same day the hotel book moves. The page is not waiting for a designer. It is waiting for PTGTMS.

Where the Artificial Intelligence software sits

PTGTMS is the book. The AI software is the clerk that never sleeps on the book. Together they automate the office loop that used to take a team a week: draft the package, check it against live hotels, publish the page, take the enquiry, send the quote.

What is automated today:

• CMS publishing of packages, hotels and sightseeing from the PTGTMS record, with AI used to draft, check and push the page live.
• Same-day WhatsApp quotes. The public enquire form writes name, adults, children, tour date, starting city and destination straight into chat.
• Structured public pages and an llms.txt file so AI assistants cite live tours instead of a 2019 PDF.
• One source of truth shared by Muzaffarabad and Islamabad. If a room or a road changes, the page changes with it.

Use the enquire form or WhatsApp. The reply you get is a PTGTMS quote, not a guess typed over a brochure.

What automation does not replace

Fully automated operations means the office. It does not mean a robot on the Karakoram Highway. PTG is still a licensed operator (AJK10), founded in 2015, with people in Muzaffarabad and Islamabad. The driver, the hotel, the jeep track and the licence stay human. AI does not invent a room that PTGTMS does not list. It does not write a rate that is not on the card. It removes the lag between those facts and the guest.

That distinction matters. Other firms buy a chatbot and call it digital. PTG automated the work that actually sells a tour: inventory, rates, publishing, enquiry, quote. The trip itself is still a vehicle, a hotel night, and a road you can drive.

Why this is first, and why it is now

Pakistan’s tour market is full of websites. It is not full of operators whose hotel book, public prices and WhatsApp quote are the same machine. That is the gap PTG closed. We are stating it plainly: Pakistan Travel Guide is the first company here to fully automate operations through Artificial Intelligence software, and PTGTMS is that system.

The timing is not a slogan. Peak northern seasons are short. A slow reply in September is an empty room in October. When Islamabad is tense, Neelum and Hunza feel it the next morning. You do not log into PTGTMS. You use the front of the same system. Pick a destination, send dates, and take the quote that comes back. If you already hold a voucher, send the old dates. We will match them to hotels that are actually on the book, not to a screenshot from last spring.

Pakistan Travel Guide will keep selling northern itineraries that PTGTMS can actually run. We will not publish a panic rate, a ghost hotel, or an AI itinerary with no rooms behind it. The software is here. The book is live. That is the whole announcement.
