Pakistan Travel Guide is introducing bike on rent in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. Travellers who stay in the capital, or who pass through on a Kashmir itinerary, can now take a motorcycle for the day instead of sitting in a car for every short hop.

This is a self-ride bike. It is not a chauffeur service. You bring a valid motorcycle licence. We hand over the bike from Muzaffarabad, you ride, you bring it back. The photograph with this post is the actual bike, not a stock image.

Who this is for

A car with a driver is still the right tool for Neelum road days, family groups, and guests who do not want to ride. The bike is for a different traveller: someone who already rides, who wants the bazaar, the river road, or a local loop without waiting for a pickup.

It fits if you are:

• Staying in Muzaffarabad and want to move around the city on your own.
• On a Kashmir trip and have a free morning or afternoon in the capital.
• Comfortable on a street motorcycle in Pakistani traffic.

It does not fit if you have never ridden here, if you want a driver, or if the day is a long mountain transfer. For those trips use our Muzaffarabad rent-a-car fleet — Corolla, BRV, Hiace and the rest, with a driver, at published daily rates.

How to book

Message PTG on WhatsApp, use the enquire form, or walk into the Muzaffarabad office. Tell us the date, how many hours or days, and that you want the bike. We confirm which motorcycle is free. We do not invent a from-price on this page.

• Valid motorcycle licence at handover.
• Pickup and return in Muzaffarabad.
• Ask for a helmet when you book.
• Fuel is on you unless we agree otherwise in the WhatsApp confirmation.

Bike and car, not one or the other

PTG’s Muzaffarabad desk already runs cars and vans. The bike sits beside that fleet. Some guests will ride in the morning and take a Hiace to Neelum the next day. That is the point of having both: the same licensed operator (AJK10), the same WhatsApp number, no separate unknown rental shop.
